Under this new law all gin distillers were required to pay a fee of fiftypounds, the producers were not happy and in six long years only two of them paid up! This gin is, produced by Thames distillers using a recipe that dates back to those times. Quadruple distilled neutral spirit is used and the botanicals are steeped for 48 hours before being distilled again in a specialised ‘John Dore’ still.,
, Fresh and cleannose of juniper and citrus. Smooth palate with some spicy coriander and angelica and smooth lemon. Finishes dry and sharp with hints of anise and warming alcohol.
